Obsession Du Jour: Dior Hydralife BB Creme 11.6.12

In anticipation of Sephora F&F, I will be doing a product review a day, which I have purchased from Sephora. As you can see from my last post, I got a nice little box filled with goodies.

First up is my absolute, newest "obsession", more than an obsession really, it is a complete must have. I got a little baby sample of the new Dior HydraLife BB Creme about 3 weeks ago and fell completely in love. I used it every day for 3 weeks, I squeezed every last drop out of it before decided to splurge for the full size.

Yes, it is pricey at $56 but it is worth every penny, for me, this BB creme gives as much coverage as a foundation but with the benefits of actually moiturizing and be light as a feather. I can not stand the feeling of foundation on my face and suffocating me. This does not do this.

Consider me a lifer.

Do I recommend this? 100%. However, remember mileage will vary depending on your skin type. I happen to have very dry skin. I would assume if you are very oily, you might not like this, or at the very least have to set with a powder. I also have heard this can be a bit dark for some people, for me this color is absolutely perfect.

Have you tried this? Will you?

x

  1. I am going to try this! I have been using Missha BB Cream, and I love the coverage but my skin is really dry and the cream doesn't moisturize it enough. Thanks for the suggestion!

  2. I LOVE this BB cream! It seems to work really well with my skin. I'm quite oily, but by the end of the day I look more glistening and glowing rather than shiny! (Powder does help when you first set it!) Great post!

  3. Loved the texture but way way too dark for a pale-face like me! Loved the video! Waiting for my VIB invitation in the mail...

  4. Thanks for the review! I am definitely going to consider this product, how would you compare it to the bobbi brown tinted moisturizer? I've also heard great things about that, considering I have dry sensitive skin. I've been using chanel vitalumiere, which I do love, but it's not very long wearing, and I always have to set it with a powder.

  5. I really want to check it out now! I think I will ask for a sample first tho, since my t-zone does tend to get a bit oily, while my cheeks are normal-dry.

    Thanks for your review. xx

  7. I wanted to love this so much, but alas, I have very oily skin so it only looks like it is sliding down my face by a couple hours. However, this was during the summer so I am willing to give it another shot because of the coverage and color pay off. I have been using it under my eyes for my dark circles in the meantime and love it.
