Obsession Du Jour 8.8.09
Lately I have been digging red lipstick but in a casual way. I like wearing is with long loose wavy hair and minimal make up, Just like the below picture of Mary-Kate Olsen.

Im lucky most reds suit me.. BUT I never wear bronzer with it. It makes an orangy look. I prefer a paler face.. heavy eyes and red lips!!

ReplyDelete@Michelle I just bought Cockney on Thursday and it's beautiful - I think it's a more wearable version of Russian Red and think I might even dare to wear it during the day!

I love red - dressy, casual, classic...every which way! My fave reds are Mac Viva Glam I, Stila Georgina and Chanel Rouge Allure in Passion.

ReplyDeleteI'm not a fan of the MAC reds. :( they're just ok imo. I usually wear Tribute To Marilyn by NYX and Dior Addict Ultra Gloss #851. For a sheer (or more casual) red I like DuWop Shades of Venom in Nightshade.

Maneater by Illamasqua is GORGEOUS - a true red, with no blue/orange undertones... also try Box, a bright red with a slight blue tone, but still nice and bright...
