Mario Badescu Problem Du Jour 8.9.09

So I have some sad news, I thought I had found something great and now it turns out to be probably not so great. About 3 weeks ago I wanted to try out some mario badescu prodcuts because I love thier Drying lotion, cream and mask. Amazing products. Anyway I went ahead and got the Buttermilk moisturizer and the caviar night cream. When I was in LA i noticed weird bumps along my jawline and after about a week I started noticing cystic red spots popping up, SO unlike my skin. I have very clear skin, not sensitive, a spot or two around that time of the month but nothing else. Well fast forward 3 weeks my face is covered in red spots (thank god for makeup!!! Under my concealer they disappear, but without it...YIKES!). I have narrowed it down to the Mario Badescu products. I have decided to ditch the cleansers, moisturizers, etc and only use cetaphil cleanser and moisturizer (dr. recommended, super gentle) and see if my face clears up. If not... off to the dermatologist for some serious skin therapy. I can not imagine it to be anything else, i have never had problematic skin.

So I am announcing project clear skin, I am not going to be using any moisturizers for the next few weeks and see what happens. I have never had to deal with this type of problem and I am NOT happy!! Any tips or tricks to heal skin? Has anyone else had a negative result from either of those products?

Note: My boyfriend had also been using Mario Badescu and is having problems too
