Design Du Jour 8.16.10

I am going to be moving apartments soon and I have been looking at a lot of interior designs. I have been feeling very inspired by beautiful spaces and I wanted to share a few of my favorites.

I chose a space based on feeling, have you ever looked at an apartment, house, space, etc and just felt a warm feeling, like you just want to live there? Well, I have and that is why I have chosen the below photos. Either I love the space or there are elements I want to use in my own decoration journey.

    simple, clean lines, a neutral palette with pops of color here and there... why am i not surprised? i totally see you reflected in these pictures! have fun in your design journey! xo

    Yes - agreed. I decided on the second home we looked at (currently renting now) just the fact that it had a master bathroom. I always dreamed of my own bathroom and now I have it. Next place I am hoping will not only have another master bath but also a walk-in closet...

    I love those design pics but because of my two year old daughter..white furniture is not an option.

    I love the 1st and 4th ones and the one 2nd from the bottom. I am moving in 2 weeks and getting really into and inspired by interior design so I loved this post! Like you seem to, I love dark wood juxtaposed with white and lots of natural light. What kind of place are you moving to?

    Hi, I went to this place(accommodation /restaurant)on Sunday, I liked the interior design a lot, sort of Scandinavian style coziness. I've attached my blog you can check out the photos.
    One thing you don't see in the photos is the room has a gorgeous view overlooking the sea/bay

    I love looking at interior pics :)
    My faves here are images 1, 2, 3, 4, 6 and 9.
    And i definitely choose a place based on feeling. Quite a few years ago I looked at a place and as soon as i walked in I just felt weird and creeped out. It didn't feel good AT ALL! So yeah, you usually know straight away whether the place gives you good or bad vibes.
