We all know the Orange lip was huge for summer but here is something semi new. Orange toned eye shadows. I for one love it...being a blue eyed chick, it is great for me. Orange tones are very flattering against blue eyes due to the whole color theory thing-a-mabob that I am sure you all have heard tons and tons about.
Anyway, some of my favorite eyeshadow are copper colors. While, personally I would never wear a navel Clementine orange but I will however start wearing more copper colors once the fall weather starts to creep in.

I quite like orange and plan on getting some use out of my Coppering eyeshadow sometime soon! Such a pretty colour on blue eyes
ReplyDeleteCopper is my go to colour when I want my eyes to "pop".. although they're not blue (but green) it is such a gorgeous colour to brighten up light eyes I think! Orange looks amazing on these gals!!!!
ReplyDeleteSince I have blue eyes, I will probably try this out. Not sure if I would go for such bold colors, but I could see myself rocking similar to the Ashly Olsen or something darker with orange/copper tones. If I wore the bold colors here they would think I am a Harajuku girl! :)

I love copper colors -- they compliment blue eyes beautifully but I wouldn't wear neon orange. With the exception of copper colors, I'll pass this trend up!

warm copper eyes are perfect for autumn/fall :) such a gorgeous look, warm coppery browns are my favourite with the classic nude lip x

ReplyDeleteWow - Scarlet looks hot with the Orange trend. I don't think it's a "DO" for me. I tend to get dry lines around the eye area. A color like orange or pink per se and it just looks bad!
ReplyDeleteI've been on the orange bad wagon for a little while now - the most fabulous I have is maybe Coppering by Mac or a fab Shu Uemura one called ME Orange 250. For a more subtle look I love Benefit cream shadow in Prenup - all fab for blue/green eyes! I've been obsessed with orangey eye shadow since my makeup artist friend did my makeup a year ago and showed me how amazing the colour is for making your eye colour stand out. Love it!x
