Woops Du Jour 3.23.10

Okay, so I said I would stop buying so much makeup, I knew that wouldnt happen. I do not know why I lie to myself.

I have wanted Penny Lane by NARS forever and I kept thinking about all the reasons I needed it, so that was what started this. Secondly, I was in Bloomingdale's last weekend with Steph and we tried the blue Estee Lauder liquid eyeshadow are were gaga over it. I couldn't think where I would wear blue eyeshadow and I still don't know, but I do know that I needed it. Even if I could only wear it around my apartment. While I was ordering the blue one, why not add the others? The formula was remarkable, it lasted on my hand for 2 days, with scrubbing!! Lastly, I blame Tali, AGAIN for the Dior diamond shimmer powder.

  6. I have to say I was disappointed with Penny Lane...I think it comes out different to how it looks in the pan...but maybe that's just on my skin, I'm looking forward to hearing your thoughts on it!

  10. EL's Aqua Flash/Sand Shimmer and the Violet one
the Bronze Goddess - blush bronzer duo
(the first time I ever wanted Estee Lauder anything, actually)
MAC's Greasesticks in Dirty and Greengrease
EB's Intimate - why haven't I ordered this one already?
NARS Orgasm blush - again, a blush I should have already owned 5yrs ago.
a palette from the new "addicted to Dior" spring line.
I know there's a ton of other stuff I seriously WANT to have. I just can't think of the rest. It's quite lengthy too so I hope that helps you feel less guilty!

  12. PL is quite subtle and doesn't stand out too much at all - although I personally prefer MAC pro cream colour bases in Pink and Nude...have you tried them? they're the most brilliant, underrated products out there I think!! Mixing them together works a treat too.

  15. Sophie- I need to pick up MAC's CCB in Nude. I love love the CCB's. How do you use them? I love to hear how other people use products!

  16. I love the CCB's too! I love mixing mine, with nude sometimes I will mix it on my hand with a powder blush and it gives a brand new cream blush right there and then! I have a review on nude here http://graceberet.blogspot.com/2010/02/mac-cream-colour-bases-review-new.html it might help you out a bit. :)
