Anyway, I just realized I have not reviewed my most favorite product right now. I am absolutely smitten with the Dior Diorskin Shimmer Star Amber Diamond. Yes, it is expensive at $44 a pop but this baby is so worth it. Well in my makeup addicted eyes.
This highlight actually is very unique, the formula is superb. It is very finely milled which makes for almost a liquid type of sheen, however it doesn't look oily or greasy. It just looks like a super fine sheen. i am in love with it. I got this color in Ambre, it is a light golden peach highlight.
You can see the natural glow it imparts below.
I have tons and tons of shimmery, highlighter products and this one has moved right to my number 1 spot. This has become a must have staple for me.
Have you tried any Dior shimmer products? Thoughts?

I really want to try this,seen a few posts about this recently.I was reluctant to shell out £31 for something that could give the same look as an MSF...i think i may purchase this come pay day xx

ReplyDeleteAwh looks lovely on you, its great when you find a staple product regardless of the price lol... I have Diorblush Edition Dentelle Color and Light Powder Blush the one with the pretty lace pattern its a gorgeous duo, the blush is a pretty Rose matt shade & the highlighter is soo subtle I love wearing it both together or sometimes just on its own perfect for summer x

ReplyDeleteAs for Dior, I adore the Nude foundation. It's close to being my HG foundation. I just posted about how much I dislike one of their lipsticks (well, their lipsticks in general). gorgeous colours but the smell is grandma-ish and the staying power really sucks.

Oops - just read your question and realized you were asking about Dior shimmery products, not all Dior. The other product that is fabulous in the line is their sculpting powder. Also gives the most amazing glow. worth checking out for sure.

This is still on my WISH list and is always sold out at my local Sephora. I recently bought NARS Albatross which I just adore. How does this differ aside from the different color combinations you can get from the Dior?

ah i LOVE this when I first saw it I knjew I had to have it and bought all 3 types! 01 02 and 04. I am loving Amber the most at the moment. Def worth the $ for such a gorgeous sheen!

This is highlighter is my all time favorite. It is so multi-purpose. I can use it as a highlighter and eyeshadow. It is one of the most finely milled highlighters I have ever come across. It looks absolutely gorgeous on you though.
