Embarrassment Du Jour 4.21.10

I have something really embarrassing to admit.

I bought....

The Shake Weight. I am hanging my head in shame.

Oh yes I did, my boyfriend made me go to Sports Authority with him so I of course needed to get something also as to not feel left out. I was walking around and saw this out of the corner of my eye and was laughing about the SNL skit about it. As I was laughing I realized I wanted it! Shock Horror! I wanted to try it out, who doesnt want more toned arms.

I thought it was going to be like a machine that shakes your arms but its not. You have to move it to, to shake it. I was really bummed when I got home and tried it. I will test it out for a week and see if it does anything, but I do not have my hopes up for this ridiculous thing. Good thing it was only $19.99.

Have you tried the shake weight?

x

  6. Omg..I literally almost got sucked into buying that thing late at night on a home shopping channel. I have an obsession with getting my arms thinner/toned, and the guys pecs demonstrating it were just gyrating so much it had me hypnotized! I am so waiting for this review. Seriously..I have a collection of stuff like that (infomercial fitness gadgets) sitting in my closet! xoxo

  7. you are hysterical.
the model's figure and makeup in the above pix is a bit distorted to me, you need to give her a makeover.
where are her shoulders? and too much fake bake tan stuff.
her upper arm looks great from the small part we can see.
    xo, chauss

  11. a friend of mine is using this but she hasn't really seen any difference... I'd really love for these gadgety exercise things to work though because i am so lazy when it comes to working out and things like this seem like a really easy, inexpensive way of toning up... Let us know how it goes! Sami xx
