  1. Like them because they are special, and with the right outfit they would look great, but they are not for everyone ;)

And don`t look very comfortable, lol ;)

  9. I love these. Ever since I saw them in the spring/summer 2010 lookbook I drooled... they were available for sale on alexandermcqueen.com a few weeks ago for the low price of $1700 lol (or maybe more, I don't remember) *sigh* they're beautiful!

  15. I think I would only want these boots because it's a piece of art. I probably would only wear them around the house. But because I respected Alexander McQueen so much I would have my husband make a special box for me so I could display them hahaha

  18. Bonjour Belle! Bonjour la bête! This is a cult line from another French classic La Belle et la bête (Beauty and the Beast), which came out in 1946. It means, "Hello Beauty", to which Beauty replies "Hello Beast". Anyway... My comment is not exactly related to your post du jour. I think the shoes are an amazing piece of fashion art but the thought of having my feet anywhere near this object of torture is somewhat off putting.

I just wanted to tell you I love the spirit of your blog. I adore make up and having found someone who has transformed her obsession and fickleness related to all things beauty into an "art de vivre" is most refreshing.

Keep it all up and if you need any help with your français, please let me know. I live in French-speaking Switzerland and allure vitalumière revialisante is my kind of language.

    Your fan du jour,
    Malina in Lausanne

  19. LOVE the design! Of course! Not possible not to!

Doubt if I 'd even be able to pull them off though (price/availability aside)!

Random, but are there ay photos of them worn? Doubt if I 've seen them as part of an outfit...
