The Garnier is great for the summer, but I have oily skin in the summer so not sure if it would be moisturising enough for you, since you have dry skin, if I remember correctly :)
Did use the Ganier gel over the summer. not in love with it.. however the lightweight lotion in the bottle i do like..... also have wanted to try the overnight repair for months.. might have to buy today !!

I also tried the Garnier over the summer. I loved it's cool fresh feel. It was just enough moisture for the hot summer months...not greasy or oily, however for the winter I tend to be prone to dry patches so I use cetaphil moisturizer that comes in a tub. It is not scented, absorbs beautifully and leaves a clean but moisturized canvas. Let me know if you try and like it!

If you are looking for a really moisterizing overnight cream, I HIGHLY recommend Aveeno's Intense Relief Overnight Cream. Amazing stuff... completely not greasy, zero smell, and no irritation. This stuff even worked on my skin post-massive sunburn from my Jamaican vaca.
