Obsession Du Jour 6.11.09

I have been searching High and Low for THE perfect concealer. I have tried everyone of MAC's concealers and NO not a fan. They are either too creamy, too matte, too thick, too thin, etc. I have tried YSL's Touche Eclat...overrated. I have used Chanel's, and it is way too thin, not enough staying power. Finally, I present to you... Make Up Forever's Full Coverage Concealer.

Let me count the ways that I love thee... You are thin but super pigmented, creamy but stays in place, matte but not drying.

I highly recommend that everyone tries this, very the driest skinned lovelies to the oiliest. This will stay put and cover any beast you may be trying to tame at the moment, for me, its under eye circles. You only need the teeniest tiniest drop to cover SO much, this will last you a long time as you need so little. I will be for sure buying more of this concealer in different colors for every shade of tan I turn during the summer. Holy Grail of Concealers, Finally!

Will you be trying this? YOU SHOULD!

  9. i can't stand MAC's concealer either! it's awful. belle, have you tried the MUF concealer quad?? if the holy grail has a sister, thy name is 5 Camouflage Cream Palette. it comes in 3 different palettes to choose from so anyone can get the custom blend color for them. it is AMAZING.

  11. I wish I had easier access to MUFE to find the correct shade. Dior makes a nice under-eye concealer, but not light enough. Lancome and HR as well and I currently use the Lancome one. But if I should one day be able to swatch them for a match I will definitely try them.

  12. Ok, so I might be a little controversial here with everything that was said about MAC concealers, but I really like my Studio Finish... For a super oily skin, it really stays in place if you powder on top, blends easily as is very creamy, and I use it both on blemishes and under my eyes (however the color is slightly better for under eye). Still, I might try MUFE one day!
