Recession Product Du Jour 4.24.09

Hi All, Sorry for the lack of posts. Crazy in the fashion world these days, all FW09 orders have been coming in. I will have a bunch of posts coming up this weekend, be on the lookout for that!

Anyway, today the item I will be featuring is very recession friendly and one of the best markets I have found in a while.

I have very very dry skin, also in the winter I get dry bumps on the back of my arms.
This product eradicates dry skin and any bumps on the body, also you can use this on your face at night. You put this on and the acids in it exfoliate and you wake up with glowy perfect dewy skin (and fights off wrinkles...yay!). I have been using this for a couple years on and off, but recently forgotten about it (I don't know how !!)

Anyway, this is $5.99 and can be found at any walgreens. Perfect!!
Has anyone else tried this?

EDIT: A tip for all of you that use this that I forgot to mention, is that this is unscented, which is great. Therefore, you can use essential oils you may have to scent it to something you love. I always do this with products. I need back up's of this cream, that is how amazing it is!

  1. You're psychic! Thanks for doing a review on this cos this is on my list to buy when I'm back in NY next week! I logged onto MUA 2 wks ago and it was on the homepage as a review and the ratings swayed me.

I'm gonna buy a couple of tubs to bring back to London with me.

  2. Hi Yinka, I am so glad I did this then for you! Yeah I got it at the walgreens in unions square on 14th street. The ratings for it are dead on, this stuff is AMAZING and dirt cheap. I swear I have bumps right now because of the winter, I put it on 2 nights ago and yesterday they were gone!!! I will have to buy a back up supply, in case they ever run out.

Also, a nice thing to do, is miz essential oil with it, because it is unscented which is great! Let me know how you like it!

  3. I'm really looking fwd to getting this (Get a life Yinks! LOL). I'll get it from the Walgreens in Times Sq, as I'll prob be popping into the Sephora there - even though I've already got a Sephora box waiting to be opened that I ordered to my boyfs hse last week! Tut tut!

Ta for the essential oil tip too. This product sounds like a skincare staple.

  4. DEF a skincare staple!! I look forward to cosmetics all the time too! let me know how you like it!

  5. Argh, trawled all over the Times Sq branch on Thurs and couldn't find it! The staff were useless and didn't know what I was talking about. Is it by skincare??

May have to go to the Union Sq branch and see if they still have it there.
